Infidelity has different faces…and different signs and patterns.
Yes, infidelity is complex. You probably know that or perhaps feel the overwhelm and confusion.
Most I work with find tremendous relief, a sense of control, confidence and power once they pinpoint the situational signs of infidelity.
Understanding IS the beginning of healing.
Yes, there are general signs of infidelity that indicate that your husband or wife may be cheating. After you finish reading this page you will find a link for those general signs of infidelity.
But, to accelerate breaking free you need to dig into and nail down the signs and patterns of infidelity.
Did you know there are 7 different kinds of affairs? Well, there may be more, but after a couple decades of clinical work and research, I’ve identified 7.
And, if you look carefully, you will find that each form of infidelity carries different signs and markers. Know those specific signs of infidelity and you can save yourself much grief.
Let’s begin here.
One kind of affair I write about in my e-book is called, “My Marriage Made Me Do It.”
Here are some signs and patterns you can expect in this kind of affair:
1. Expect that your spouse will have a very powerful attachment to the other person. The other person will consistently be on her mind. Your spouse will shift energy away from you, the children, the household and her career to her affair relationship. She will be focused, but not on you. Your spouse will attempt to push you away by avoiding you, ignoring you, closing off communication or walking away.
2. The affair will most likely be a long-term affair. It will be very difficult for your spouse to walk away from the other person. He may try on a number of occasions but will continue to gravitate back to the other person. He will hold on tenaciously. This is probably the first or only affair for your spouse. Your spouse is not interested in playing or fooling around but powerfully attaching to the other person. The other person is the savior!
3. Don’t believe that the affair was planned before hand because of a bad marriage. These affairs usually just happen. They usually happen with someone in close proximity: co-worker, neighbor, friend (frequently of friends with whom you socialize), etc. The other person is usually the aggressor, your spouse lacking the confidence to seek out the affair. The rationale that it happened because of a lousy marriage comes after the affair is in bloom.
4. The more you try to persuade, convince or pursue, the more strongly he will attach to the other person. He will perceive your efforts as weakness and will want to attach more intently to the other person whom he (at perhaps an unconscious level) deems to be the powerful and loving answer-to-all.
5. Efforts to use moral or religious arguments to call a halt to the affair will be strongly resisted. Your spouse is not guided by rightness or wrongness. These standards have not been internalized and do not carry much weight, especially when it comes to the important chunks of her life. The actions and thoughts of your spouse primarily originate from her need to attach to another person. Any behavior or concept that serves the purpose of maintaining the attachment will be valued. Others are discarded.
6. Expect you will spend a significant amount of time and emotional energy in the next 2 to 4 years (especially if there are children) attempting to resolve the relationship. By resolve, I mean, coming to a point where each of you are fairly free of the emotional entanglement that holds you together and generates the pain and fear. It will be important for you to resolve the relationship whether you continue to be married or separate and divorce.
Does this fit your situation?
Do you see the importance of understanding in-depth the signs of infidelity. Once you do, you will have many more options available that will help you break free.

Have you ever worked for hours on a document, saved it to your computer and the
next time you went to use the file you could not find it? Hopefully this article will
help you and everyone else who uses your computer, save files in an orderly
manner; then you will always be able to find any file you need, quickly and
efficiently.
How to Create Folders
All PCs have an icon
or section on the computer labelled My Documents. This is where you
should be saving all of the files you create. Think of this area as a great big filling
cabinet. Instead of piling everything in the cabinet higgledy piggledy, as tempting as
it might be, you need to set up sections within the filling cabinet for the different
type of files you might be saving. Each section of the filing cabinet is called a Folder
If several people are using the same computer, begin by assigning a Major
Folder to each person. For example:
Mr. Smith or Dad’s
Files
Mrs. Smith or Mom’s Files
Junior Smith or Junior’s Files
Jane Smith or Jane’s Files
You can give the Folder any name you wish, to make these Major folders, follow
these commands.
1. Click on Start (green button at
the bottom left corner of your screen). 2. Click on My
Documents. 3. On the top right corner of the My Document Screen click on File. 4. Immediately under File, a white section comes up and click
on New. 5. To the right of the word New click on Folder. 6. A Folder will appear in the white area of the screen saying New
Folder and it will be shaded blue, immediately type in the name of the folder
Dad’s Files. 7. If the Folder turns to white before you type in the name,
simply click on the word New Folder, then click on File, scroll
down and click on Rename, once again it will turn to blue and you can
type in the name of the new folder. 8. Continue making and naming
as many Folders as you need for each person or section you wish to
create.
Within each major Folder you can create other sections or Sub
Folders, to help you keep each person’s files organized. For
example:
Dad’s Files
———Business
——————Documents
——————Letters
—————————Company A
—————————Company B
—————————Company C
——————Faxes
——————Estimates
——————Insurance
——————Resumes
——————Miscellaneous
———Household Accounting Records
———Personal
———Friends
Moms Files
———Letters
———Special e-mails
———Household Documents
———Friends
Junior’s Files
———School work
———Friends
Jane’s Files
———School work
———Friends
How to Save Your Files to Your Folders

save your new files into the correct Folder.
2. Start by opening a new file in your Word
program.
3. Click on File in the top left corner and scroll down to save as.
4. A new screen will appear with the words SAVE AS in
the blue shaded area, click on My Documents on the left side of
this screen.
5. A list of each of your major folders will appear.
Click on the Major Folder you wish to use.
6. The screen will open and list each of the Sub Folders
you have made.
7. Once you have reached the Sub Folder you wish
to save your document in, type in the name of your document in the
bottom of the screen labelled File Name.
If you are saving pictures on your computer, it is a good idea to set up
folders for
your pictures in the same manner as your documents. Set up your Folders in the
same manner in the My Pictures section of your computer.
File and
Folder Tasks
In the My Document screen (in the blue area on the left side) you will
see a section labelled File and Folder Tasks. Click on the small white circle
beside the name and a list of tasks will appear or disappear. You can use this
section to accomplish the following tasks

if you wish to give the folder a new name, just click on the folder, then click on this
command. The folder will turn blue and you can type in the new name and press
enter. 2. Move this folder. a. Highlight the file by
clicking on the file Name. b. Click on the command Move this file. c. A new screen will appear called Move Items. d.
Scroll through this screen until you find the Folder you wish to move the
file into. e. Click on this:Folder and the Move
button at the bottom of this screen. 3. Copy this folder – follow the
same commands as to move the folder, instead of a screen saying Move
Items you will get a screen saying Copy Items 4. Publish this folder to the web – click on the Folder you wish to
publish, then the Publish this folder to the Web, a Web Publishing
Wizard will appear, follow the directions that come up. 5. Share this folder – once again, click on the Folder and the command Share this folder and follow the instructions that appear. 6. Email this folder – click on the Folder or File and the
command Email this folder, an e-mail will appear with the Files or
Folders attached, send the e-mail to the person you wish to send it
to. 7.Delete this folder – click on the File or Folder and the command Delete this folder. A window will appear asking
you
if you wish to delete the file or folder. Click on Yes and the file
will be sent to your Recycle Bin. If you make a mistake and accidentally
delete the wrong file, you can always go to the Recycle Bin and move it back to its
correct location. This only works if you have not emptied your Recycle Bin .
Lost Files
If you have previously saved a file to your computer and wish to find it, try the
following commands.
1. Go to the My Document screen. 2. Click on the File command. 3. Scroll down to the Search
command. 4. Follow the directions on the left side of the screen that
appears. You can type in the name of the file, or a phrase that has been used in the
file. By clicking on the sections Look In you can tell the computer to look
in one specific area or the complete computer by clicking on the Local Hard
Drive. 5. Once the computer has found your file or files with the information you requested, a list of possible files will appear on the
right side of the screen. 6. Click on the correct file and it
will open for you. 7. I suggest you save the file in a Folder where you will quickly find it the next time.
Details
of Files
If you wish to find out how big a file is, when it was last used, or which program was
used to create it, follow the following commands.
1. Go to the My Document screen. 2. Click on the View command at the top of the screen. 3. Scroll down to
the Details command. 4. The screen will give you the Name, Size, Type and Date Modified of each file in the folder you are
displaying.
Summary
It will only take you a few minutes to set up your filling system on your
computer but it will save you hours of scrolling through many files looking for the
one elusive file you need. As the old proverb goes “An ounce of prevention is
worth a pound of cures”. I also suggest that when you are working on a file,
that you take time to use the save command (found under File)
every five
minutes. Then if your computer suddenly decides to have a fit (crash), at least you
will be able to retrieve the bulk of your work.
I wish you many happy
hours of
computing and less frustration as you quickly locate all your files when you need
them. Enjoy your computer and keep learning how to make it work for you.
Believe it or not, there is etiquette on how to elope, and how to handle all the important people in your life who may feel spurned by your not including them. In addition, there are also some important questions you need to ask yourself before you run off and get hitched without including those most important to you. Here’s a rundown of things to consider when planning to run off like some of the kids are doing nowadays.
What are your family obligations? Will your immediate family be hurt by not being included? And, do you care?
This, before money and personal feelings, comes first. You may want to consider calling your parents before you make the big leap, just to let them in on the secret. Or, perhaps you feel like it would do more harm than good. You might want to include them in the runaway, like so many couples do who simply want to avoid a huge, expensive wedding: a few of you get on a plane to some exotic destination, and wed there.
Then, there’s announcing your marriage afterwards. Some couples do send a formal announcement, and some throw their own “reception” or big party after they’ve wed, which is a great way for family and friends to feel included on your big decision. Others send what’s called an “At Home” card, which simply announces that the two of you are married, you’re home, and your new names (and addresses, etc.). A personal note explaining why you eloped is often included, to assuage possible hurt feelings
Lastly, most couples that elope give the advice that in the end, you should do what you want to do. It’s your marriage, after all, and if you want to be alone, then so be it.
Should We Still Register and Receive Gifts?
This is a bit of a complicated issue, because many times people close to you may feel insulted or hurt that you didn’t want to include them in your ceremony, but you still want them to buy you gifts. Most etiquette mavens recommend that you not register for gifts, but if you want to have a reception for your family and friends, you are more than welcome to accept any gifts they may bring.
Can We Send Announcements?
Eloping, by definition, is a secret, unplanned, getaway wedding without anyone’s consent. So, if you plan to tell everyone you just want to have a private ceremony, you’re actually just having a non-traditional, destination wedding. Announcements are recommended, and gifts are acceptable.
The internet has a plethora of suggestions about where to go if you’re planning a wedding getaway. If you want to pay the price, you can certainly hire a coordinator to arrange your plans for you, like they do in Puerto Vallarta or Australia, or even Scotland. Choose where you want to wed, and then begin comparing prices to see where you can get the most bang for your buck. Be sure you research marriage license and passport requirements as well as waiting periods. Also be sure there will be an officiant who’s able to marry you.
Even eloping can be a complicated wedding plan that will require a bit of organization and money. It all depends on what your image of a “dream day” is. Take that idea, and run away with it.
Jennifer Baumann is editor of Wedding Gazette, the resource for real-world wedding planning that’s packed with info on how to plan your budget, how to avoid killing certain family members, exhaustive theme ideas, plus tons of resources on finding favors, necessary accessories, and much more.
So, it’s happened. He’s proposed and it is time to make a decision on the most important detail of every little girl’s dream: the wedding dress. Should it be sleeveless, short, long, lacey, sequined or plain? What about gothic or a themed wedding dress?
If you grew up like I did with a romantic vision of what my wedding should be like, then no matter how many questions there are to ask yourself, you’re sure of one thing, it needs to be perfect. Nowadays not everyone appears as concerned about finding the perfect dress, but for most of us – deep inside – it really does matter.
As soon as you begin planning or the big day, choosing your wedding dress becomes an urgent need for most brides. Nobody wants to wait. While dealing with wedding stress and preparations, be sure to allow yourself plenty of time to try on different styles and find the one who says “you”.
The theme of your wedding will be an important point when selecting that special dress. Are you getting married on the beach? If so, you might choose a light airy style. Have you decided on a formal affair? Then by all means, go all out and wear a white dress covered in silk and lace. Whatever type of occasion your wedding will be, your dress will play one of the most important roles in it!
It’s also important to think about the month and season you are getting married in. If you are having a middle of summer wedding, then you probably shouldn’t wear a wedding dress with double layers or long sleeves. After all, this is supposed to be the most memorable day of your beginning together. You don’t want the biggest memory to be how much you sweated through the whole ceremony!
When choosing a wedding dress, try on comfortable styles. Walk around in them, if kneeling is part of your ceremony, then kneel in the dress. You need to certain that you will be comfortable in your choice. The beauty of the dress is only half of your decision – the other half is looking beautiful, happy and elegant. And you won’t look – or be – happy if you are holding your breath so seams do not pop or you’re itchy from the lace on your arms.
One mistake that a lot of brides tend to make when choosing a wedding dress is with the size. If you are planning on losing weight before your big day, do not buy a dress the size you think you may be come the wedding day. Instead buy the size you are on the day you choose the dress. It will always be easier to take a dress in if it is too big. It’s an awful job trying to add material for a dress that ended up being too small.
With the expense of weddings, some couples try and cut back by making their own flowers, having a family member bake the wedding cake or hiring a friend to take wedding photos. Although it is okay to cut back and still have your dream wedding, don’t skimp when choosing your wedding dress. If you cannot afford to hit a wedding boutique and pay their prices, try wedding consignment shops, who offer ‘like new’ dresses at an affordable price. Remember too that there are many discount wedding dress shops.
Whatever style, color or price range you eventually decide on when choosing your wedding dress, don’t forget that it’s you your fiancé fell in love with, not your dress. The dress adds to the ambiance of the day, but it isn’t the real centerpiece.
After you have chosen your wedding dress hang it in the bag it comes in and don’t show it to everybody. Give guests something to look forward to when they see you for the first time walking down the aisle. And unless it is truly unavoidable, don’t let your future husband see your dress at all before the wedding. They say it’s bad luck and even if that’s just a superstition, it certainly does spoil his surprise!
One of the most important things you’ll need to remember when
you plan your special day is the caterer. This is because the
food you serve will be one of the most memorable parts of the
reception for your guests. Caterers can be booked up to a year
in advance, so it is wise to search one out early. A simple time
line for finding a caterer is to start looking for one at 10
months before the wedding, make sure you have booked the caterer
by 8 months, and decide on a menu by 6 months.
A good caterer does more than one might think. They are well
trained in food selection and preparation, reception staging,
serving and clean up. Some go as far as to decorate for you,
hire bartenders, and provide the wedding cake. Others may only
prepare and serve the food and then clean up.
When looking for a caterer, keep in mind these things:
- Find a caterer with a good reputation whose food you can
sample before signing a contract.
- Make appointments and interview many different caterers to
find the right one for you. Some caterers may even give you
phone numbers of past customers who were pleased with the
caterer’s work.
- Many reception sites have their own catering services, so
when you’re looking for a hall, decide if it has what you want
in both catering and atmosphere.
- Check to see what services the caterers will provide other
than just the meal (electricity, lighting, tents, tables,
linens, chairs, etc).
If you feel like you have found the right caterer, wait to sign
a contract until the caterer understands your expectations and
you understand the terms of agreement. Keep in mind questions
such as: will the cost be a flat rate or a per-person fee? Are
gratuities automatically added? Are you going to have a sit-down
dinner or a buffet? Will drinks be included in the price?
Catering is one of the most expensive parts of the wedding, so
when it comes to cost, it is up to you whether you want to spend
any amount or keep costs down. There are different ways serve
food at your wedding that will vary the price. Some tips to keep
in mind are:
- Most caterers will charge per-person, which means the
cost will depend on the number of guests that you expect to come.
- American food will cost much less to serve than an exotic or
international dish such as French, Mediterranean, Thai or Indian.
- Cost will increase if you decide to have the caterer take
care of the wine and the wedding cake instead of doing that
yourself.
- Buffet-style catering will cost less than if waiters serve
your guests, yet it is also less elegant.
- Most caterers include set up and clean up in per-person
cost; if they do not, that will increase the cost.
- Most caterers have special rates for children, so be sure to
ask about that.
- Overtime costs, gratuities or taxes will all affect the
final cost of your caterer.
Many people forget about the cost of drinks when planning for
a caterer. This can really rack up the price depending on what
you want to serve for beverages:
- The least expensive option is to not serve any alcohol,
and instead have a cash bar where guests can buy their own
drinks. If you decide to do this, inform your guests so they
know to bring their own money.
- A nicer option, but more expensive, is to serve only beer
and wine. You can buy the beer and wine yourself or have the
caterer provide them (this will be a little more expensive than
buying it yourself).
- The most expensive option will be to have an open bar with
free drinks. Your guests will love this and you won’t have to
worry about providing drinks yourself. Remember to include
champagne for the wedding toast.
Because the food and drink at your wedding will be one of the
most memorable parts for the guests and for you, be sure you are
happy with your choice of a caterer. Remember these tips when
selecting a caterer, and make sure they have what you want.
When I meet with a couple planning to get married, one of the first things I try to emphasize is that the wedding ceremony will be more special if they work with me to make it a celebration of their unique relationship. All weddings include “I Do’s” (also known as “The Marriage Questions”), Vows, ring exchanges, and a kiss, but there are ways to vary all of these elements, and add more, to create a service that suits you as specifically a couple.
For instance, I suggest that couples find special readings to intersperse throughout the ceremony. It might be a favorite Scripture reading or two, which if fine, but I also encourage couples to find favorite poems or blessings or prayers that can be shared as well. One couple particularly loved the wording on a greeting card he gave her for their engagement, so I read that as part of the service. Others love the Apache Wedding Blessing as a closing prayer, while still others have asked for Emily Dickinson or Mary Oliver poems to be read, or something from Gibran’s “The Prophet” – either “On Marriage” or “On Children.”
Many couples can’t think of something off the tops of their heads when I first meet with them, so I ask them to be on the lookout for something in the intervening weeks between our visits. There are wonderful wedding anthologies out there that you can look through as well as internet wedding sites with suggestions as well. The point is this – if there is a particular piece of literature or writing you love, ask the Officiant to include it in your ceremony, as a way of making the service special to you as a couple. And if you can’t think of something right off hand, do some looking around. When it’s all over, you will be glad to have something read at your ceremony that fits you as a couple, or has special meaning for you.
What about the vows? Well, there certainly are different ways you can exchange your “I Do’s” and Vows. You can use traditional forms, which your Officiant will have copies of, or you can use more modern versions of them, which you can find online or in books if the person doing your ceremony doesn’t have them available. And of course you can even write your own. I’ve had couples look over several different versions of Marriage Questions and Vows, and end up combing variations of them for their own ceremony. Whatever you choose, you don’t have to just go with the garden variety traditional vows, unless they are special to you in and of themselves. Go for something special. I always recommend either repeating your vows after the Officiant prompts you, or reading them yourselves from a written card – and try to discourage memorization since the stress of a wedding can lead to sudden lapses in memory.
Same goes for the exchange of rings. It’s fine to go the traditional route (“with this ring, I thee wed”) but there are many variations I’ve used throughout the years. One of the neatest practices I’ve begun in recent years is to invite 4-6 people who are close to the couple to come forward for a blessing of the rings before they are exchanged. The loved ones form a circle around the couple and take the rings in their own hands, offering a silent blessing over the rings on behalf of the couple before passing them on to the next person in the circle. Then when the rings return to me, I invite the couple to exchange the rings using whatever wording they’ve chosen. This works especially well when a couple is bringing two families of children together, letting the children take part by blessing the rings as a newly formed family.
What else can you include to make your wedding special? I always encourage music to be part of the ceremony if that is to your tastes. If you don’t have access to a soloist or string quartet, and cousin Lenny really doesn’t sing as well as Aunt Marge thinks he does – don’t be afraid to use recorded music during your ceremony. Most weddings have processional and recessional music, but you don’t need to limit yourselves to those pieces. If you have songs you both love, consider interspersing them throughout your ceremony as well. Without music, most weddings only last 15-20 minutes, and that’s fine. But if you want to stretch it out a bit longer, consider adding music to the program.
Most Officiants will offer some sort of Charge to the Couple or Blessing – that’s something we usually write after getting to know a couple. It’s our chance to offer words of wisdom about life and marriage, using what we know of a couple from our time spent together in pre-marital counseling. I will usually let a couple know what I am thinking of saying, in general, while reassuring them I won’t share personal information they might not want shared (even if it IS a good story!) So make sure to ask your Officiant about the charge or blessing – and if there are funny anecdotes you’ve shared in counseling that you’d prefer not be shared in front of Grandma, make sure to let your Officiant know that ahead of time!
Maybe you want to include children in the service somehow, or your parents. Perhaps you want to light the Unity Candle at some point, or share a blessing together as a newly married couple. Whatever it is, it’s your wedding, and the ideas I’ve shared are just a few of the ones I’ve gathered over the years – just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to planning your ceremony. I hope it gets you thinking about how you can make your own ceremony special, and maybe spark some ideas of your own. Whatever occurs to you, share it with your Officiant to see if he/she is willing to do something you have in mind. Some will be fine with what you suggest, but other, more traditional clergy might not be as open to some of your ideas. But it doesn’t hurt to ask.
The Mobile World Congress suffered on two major fronts this year. Firstly, the attendance was significantly lower, a drop of 6000 from last year’s 55,000. Secondly, there were very few product launches. Falling sales of handsets everywhere means the companies are holding back and shying away from being too adventurous. With all the gadgetry missing, the characteristic glitz of the event also went missing. The legacy of the Mobile World Congress has been damaged, but hopefully it has not been permanently diminished.
Rob Conway, GSMA CEO, summed up the mood by saying that it seemed only the elite of the mobile world had made it to the event this year. The lack of attendance though did not stop several major issues from being discussed, especially the growth in mobile broadband.
3g mobile broadband is seen as a key growth area for the mobile industry and several surveys have indicated that a large number of existing mobile users see a big growth in their data usage in the future. Mobile broadband is poised to reach over 100 million European consumers who do not currently have access to fixed broadband. Throughout the world too, it is seen as the future of broadband and most companies in the mobile industry are betting on this demand to boost their revenues in coming years. However, the top priority item on the agenda currently is escaping unscathed in this severe economic downturn and getting back to business as usual.
One of the worst financial nightmares is negative credit. People who face bad credit often seek to get out of it by using the services of an independent company. However, with the countless number of such businesses all offering their own array of services, it can become confusing to select the most viable choice. Moreover, the fact that these agencies make it sound complicated does not help the matter very much. Along with that is the difficulty of obtaining a loan with the current global economic status; banks now require exceptionally high credit ratings before providing a loan on good terms. If you’re one of those people whose bad credit has wrecked financial position, then fast credit repair is what you’re after. Keep in mind, that you are not required to have specialized know-how on fast credit repair. You can get out of that depressing credit rating without necessarily having to employ the services of an independant company and pay expensive service charges.
Consistent use of credit cards is one of the main reasons for bad credit. Try not to use athe credit card if it is not required. And if you can, get a monthly limit imposed on your credit card, so you don’t accidentally over-spend. This is one of the strategies used for fast credit repair and will assist to keep your credit card bills low. Additionally, shut off any other unnecessary credit accounts. They may not incur you any substantial expenses, their visual existence on your credit statements can hurt your overall score. You’ll understand that fast credit repair is not really unmanageable!
People often tend to neglect the easier solutions to fast credit repair. They do not take the matter in their own hands. Rather, they hire expensive services. These services do nothing extraordinary. They evaluate the credit reports of the individual and come to a decision which is based on their findings. This task is not difficult, rather something that can effortlessly be achieved by the person himself. Thus, people should be better off doing the simple things themselves, rather than paying high charges to get them done elsewhere. Because, at the end of the day, getting yourself out of bad credit is something you need to accomplish yourself, and not the agency you’ve employed the services of.

There are over 65 million people using mobile phones and themobiletelephone system is spreading (information is sourced from Health Protection Agencies). Previously damaged parts of a mobile were dumped at land filled site, but presently these parts are recycled and utilized for another purpose. A mobile has compositions of cadmium and silver in it, wherein cadmium produces a harsh environmental effects and silver can be extracted and put to use.
Mazumamobile and various other phone recycling companies use the spare parts of a mobile to create a new one. The parts include battery circuit, integrated circuit, LCD screen, microphone, speakers, PCB’s, aerials, flash memories, keyboards, lenses, phone housing, screws and edges of a circuit coated with gold. News on recyclingstates that these are used to create another functional device.
